INFORMATION ABOUT St. Lo |
The medieval city of St. Lo is situated on a rocky hill, within and around the remains of the ancient ramparts that Charlemagne began in the 9th century. St. Lo is located about 175 km West of Paris and within easy reach of many of the area's famous tourist attractions including Le Mont St Michel, Bayeux and its well-known Tapestry, the World War II Landing Beaches i.e. Omaha Beach, The American Cemetery at Colleville-Sur-Mer, Caen for the Peace Memorial Exhibition and Monet's Garden at Giverny.
