INFORMATION ABOUT LETTERKENNY | |
The town of Letterkenny, the largest town in County Donegal, is situated at the base of the picturesque Lough Swilly, only 20 miles West of Derry and 35 miles from Donegal Town. Bed and breakfast travelers will enjoy not only its buzzing nightlife, quality restaurants and a variety of recreational facilities, but also find it to be an ideal location for exploring many of Northern Ireland's most important attractions. Letterkenny plays host to a number of major events including, The Earagail Arts Festival, which features international music, drama, art and children's events taking place in July, with over 100 events in more than thirty venues throughout and the Donegal Car Rally takes place in June of each year throughout Donegal. |
