B&B Sandra stands alongside one of the main canals in the old, historic city centre close to the most important sightseeing spots: Rialto bridge and Market, the Jewish Ghetto, Fondamenta della Misericordia and the Church of Madonna dell'Orto (with Tintoretto's frescos) the house where Tintoretto was born, Ca' D'Oro and the Venice Casinò.
The house has centralized air conditioning system, providing a regular constant temperature in all the rooms of the house.
No huge, cumbersome and noisy split-units, but only hidden outlets whispering smoothly.
Our guests really appreciate the advantages of this system, which allowes all of us a good sleep, without fighting heat, noise, and mosquitoes, being them locked out.
The neighbourhood is inhabitated mostly by Venetians and mantains its genuine atmosphere, with pittoresque small shops for the every day life, little food markets, and traditional "baccari" (wine bars) where local people use to meet for a "ombra e cicchetto" (glass of wine and small snack) and nice chats, before dinner. |
