Stacey Hunter We stayed here in May 2007. The accomodations we wonderful, the location of Sinzig was off the beaten path yet accessable to major autobahn and railway. Margaret was an accomodating hostess with much information on sights in the local area and directions to lead you anywhere. I would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends or anyone who asked. submitted 08 Nov 2007 -

Bernd At the moment I am engaged in a larger project in Bonn and therefore was looking for accomodation for my red cat King Leon (Norwegian Forest Cat) and I.
Luckily I discovered Haus am Zeiberberg. Margaret is a very nice and helpful hostess, she has that special nack of making you feel at home. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished.

Jennifer Dyar This was an absolutely wonderful B&B. My husband and I stayed here for four days while visiting the Rhine and Mosel valleys. The B&B is well situated to give access to all the castles and vineyards in these regions as well as Bonn and Cologne. Margaret is a most charming and hospitable innkeeper who gave us some wonderful tips on local dining and historic sites that we would otherwise have missed. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay at Haus am Zieberberg again! submitted 24 May 2007 -

Michael Testa I stayed at Haus am Zeiberberg along with 5 friends from England for 2 weeks during the World Cup 2006 in Germany. We had an excellent time there, the house is situated on the edge of the town with countryside views for as far as you can see, and yet only 5 minutes drive from the railway station, from where you can travel to anywhere throughout Germany.
You can travel to Bonn by train in about 15-20 minutes, or Cologne in around 35-40 minutes. Remagen is only 5 minutes drive away and from there you can take a boat trip along the Rhine. The town of Sinzig is small but well served with several bars and restaraunts, with very reasonable prices.
Margaret, mine host,at Haus am Zeiberberg is extremely helpful to her guests and certainly made us feel very welcome during our stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to a friend. submitted 20 Aug 2006 -

Sarah I was a young girl traveling alone on a spur of the moment trip through Europe, and I was fortunate to have found the Zeiberberg B&B my first night in Germany. Margaret, one of the owners, spoke English and made me feel at home. The B&B was comfortable, clean, and quiet. I slept wonderfully that night. As I didn't have much time to plan my trip, Margaret spent her valuable time that morning looking up hotels for me to stay at on the Mosel River and gave me helpful brochures as well, without my having to ask. Her kindness, along with the comfort of her B&B made for an excellent overall experience and got my trip in Germany off on the right foot! submitted 27 Jun 2005 -

Patricia Lassiter The owner, Lady Margaret, is the most wonderful hostess we encountered in 40 days of travel in Europe. Mere words cannot express our gratitude. She set the mood for our entire trip which was wonderful inspite of other not so pleasant stays.
My daughter has Celiac disease and she even made a special, special breakfast for her. We called her Lady Margaret because she embodied the spirit of "Ladyship".
She prepared us places to go with maps. She had done this in the middle of the night after asking us what we wanted to do the next day.
It was an incredible time and we recommend this place above ALL in ALL of Europe.

Becky Schmitt This is a great bed and breakfast. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms with a bathroom and kitchen in each. It is easy to get to the train station, or just a few hours drive to any major tourist site. The hostess is very helpful and makes you feel like family. submitted 15 Mar 2005 -

Arthur Roberts My wife daughter and I stayed on Friday 10th September 2004. We were all very well satisfied with our stay and would certainly return. We enjoyed Margaret Riederman's Aussi humour and the cheap good cold beer in the fridge. She even came up with some good advice for me on computer security over breakfast! Ronnie Robertson Margaret and George were the perfect hosts for our stay in their lovely home. My wife, Carol and I were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, until our final departure. The little personel touches like arranging dental treatment when Carol was in pain was very much appreciated.
Our room was modern, clean and nicely decorated. The fridge was well stocked and there was also excellent cooking facilities. The garden was lovely for relaxing in and socialising with the family. The house is set in a peaceful location but is near enough to the town, tourist sites and major traffic routes.
My wife and I will return in the future as this is the best B & B we have stayed at. Excellent value for money. submitted 06 Aug 2004 -

Toby Field The B&B is very close to an Autobahn and is ideally situated for visitors to the Nürburgring( we were staying there for the European GP). The property is reasonably priced and situated in a beautiful setting. The Riedemann family are very friendly and welcomed us like we were part of the family. The rooms were very clean and met our needs perfectly. The fridge in the room was well stocked with wines, beers and soft drinks and was big enough to fill with our own drinks while we were staying there. The room was also fitted with a stove and all the home comforts which are ideal if you also want a self-catering holiday. We did not make use of the cooking facilities in our room, instead we made full use of the local English speaking restaurant that offered high quality, good value meals. Our room opened onto a private terrace which was great for spending the evening relaxing outside with a cold drink! This B&B is a must for anyone who likes that personal touch coupled with a perfect nights sleep!! submitted 05 Jun 2004 -

Jim Millet Margaret and George provided us with the warmest hospitality and service of any place we stayed during our three-week visit to Germany. Margaret went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect to include removing red wine stains from my wife's coat. She also went to great lengths to find us accommodations for later on in our travels. George gave us some great tips on sights to see and places to visit. His suggestion that we add the Ahr river wine towns to our itinerary proved to be the best travel tip of the entire trip. Visit Ahrweiler and skip Rothenburg.
Margaret the Aussie, and George the German are an unbeatable combination when it comes to running a guest friendly bed and breakfast.
