A very friendly French couple who try to please. The rooms and gardens are simple but attractive - a good economic place to stay without any real 'fors' or 'against'. Note that your rooms are not cleaned each day, but otherwise a pleasant place to stay.

Irene and Jean Luc are wonderful hosts, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. After several weeks in London and Paris, arriving at their farmhouse in Cahagnes was a wonderful, relaxing way to end our vacation. Jean Luc made breakfast for us each morning, and was very patient with our poor French, and laughed at our attempts to play pool. Even their two dogs adopted us into their family. Their farm is ideally located south of Bayeaux for touring the Normandie area, and is in a beautiful setting. Jean Luc is a treasure chest of information regarding the area, especially concerning the battles following the invasion in 1944. Their farmhouse is only one of two buildings remaining in an entire village that was destroyed during one battle. The accomodations are rustic and quaint, with all the modern amenities, and are very suitable for families like ours. I would recommend this B&B without reservations, and cannot wait until my family and I return again. It's beautiful, it's relaxing, and Irene and Jean Luc are now part of our family.
