I probably can't say enough about this B&B. Charlotte couldn't have been a more gracious hostess, helping us first with the parking meters (since we don't read Dutch), carrying my suitcase up the stairs, making fabulous restaurant recommendations (we went to all of them!)... I can go on and on. The B&B was perfectly located in the charming Jordaan neighborhood, an easy walk to all areas of interest. Nights were quiet and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfasts were good and were served in our rooms at a time we chose. Charlotte offered us guidebooks as well as advice on any questions we had. My husband asked about a specific type of hobby store, which Charlotte researched and got back to us with suggestions. I heartily recommend this B&B!

The location of this Bed & Breakfast is excellent for exploring the Jordaan, with sites like Anne Frank's House very close. The facilities available in the two rooms means one must be used as a "master" room, as it contains a wash-basin, whereas the other room does not. It is therefore more suitable for families, rather than friends. The toilet room is very small, which may give guests with reduced mobility some problems - although this is typical of a Dutch style. The shower room does not provide any facility to hang clothes, etc, and ensure they are kept dry whilst showering. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and the host was very friendly and helpful.

The location is superb, at the edge of the Jordaan in Amsterdam just a few minutes walk from either the centre or leidseplein. Caroline is extremely friendly and welcoming, and her room rate is very reasonable for Amsterdam. Parking is always a problem in Amsterdam, but with such an excellent publictransport system who wants a car anyway! There are two rooms but really only suitable for a family or two couple who really know each other well, since only one wash basin etc.
