This is a very comfortable B and B, with modern accomodations. It is centrally located and reasonably priced. I'll stay there again on future visits to Brussels.

The first morning I had breakfast at 9, the 2nd day I had breakfast when I woke at 10, the 3rd morning's breakfast was at 6:30am. Always superior - an omelette hot from the frying pan onto my plate and toast that was buttered to splendour - and flexible. I think these two words of superior and flexible capture Downtown Residence perfectly. Each night I ate in the superb and intimate restaurant - salmon fried in the pan, steak au poivre, a beautiful sole. The excellent room, location, and hospitable generosity were genuinely appreciated and the outstanding food in the brick-walled restaurant exceeded my imaginations. Given the reasonable prices, I never expected this to be the 100% renovated, well-appointed establishment that it was. I recommend it highly.

The spacious suite is recently renovated, and was modern and clean, and the bed very comfortable. The private high-speed internet access was a nice bonus not often found in B&Bs. Our host was very accomodating and extremely friendly, adjusting breakfast hour to suit our time frame, and our breakfast was wonderful and just as requested. The location is an easy walk into Brussels and the main square. Convenient parking is available on the street. The host also accepts credit cards, another feature often not available with small B&Bs. We would definitely recommend this B&B, and will try to stay there again when we return to Brussels.

This place is perfect for business people and tourists alike. The owner is extremely hospitable and he does whatever he can to make your stay enjoyable. He keeps the rooms immaculate. All of the rooms are newly renovated and the bed in my room was more comfortable than the one I have at home! I enjoyed eating in the restaurant as well, where everything was cooked to order. The location is great since it is close to an important metro line and lots of shops and restaurants.

Really enjoyed staying here. I would recommend it to everyone. We were well taken care of.

Very central location in BXL, the host helped us in many ways and is very hospitable and accommodating. Very good experience.
