Our stay ´Chez Marie´ has made our time on Liegé all the more pleasant. The room and bathroom are spacious and the spiritual atmosphere was very nice. It is very special to be so near the city and get the feeling as if one where staying on the countrysite. It is very tranquile and the only sound you hear are the bells of the goats and the donkey in the meadow next to the house. I will not forget the wonderfull breakfast in the beautiful garden and the interesting talks we had with our hostess Marie, who to our surprise even spoke spanish. As the house is situated on a hill, going downtown is no problem at all. It takes a little more time get back as you go uphill. If you want to go into town in the evening it is handy to have a car althought the hosts are willing to pick you up in the center. I can certaintly recommend this B&B to everyone.

Beautiful surroundings, wonderful hospitality. Our six-night stay was very comfortable, tranquil and relaxing. The breakfast was excellent, our hostess' friendly advice on how to get around in the town very useful. It is indeed a rare thing to be able to stay so close to the city, yet in a serene, quasi-rural environment. "Chez Marie" gets our heartfelt thanks!
