Alex Hayles Le Foulon is just somewhere you want to come back to again and again, it has a certain 'Je ne sais quoi' that instantly makes you feel relaxed, something vital for a good holiday. The owners Nick and Mia make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, and they maintained their cheerful friendliness throughout my visit. My room was luxurious and individually designed around its view and not a corporate image, something I found very refreshing as a business traveller. The food was exceptional with a great mixture of local cuisine and I certainly had no complaints about the bar stock! The surroundings are beautiful, not only the nearby villages and countryside but the grounds of Le Foulon itself. Yes you may have guessed I loved the place, but don't just take my word for it go and see for yourself! submitted 25 Jul 2006 -

Robert Lamprell I was absolutely amazed by the whole experience of my stay. The accomodation is superb, you really feel like lord of the manor, yet very reasonably priced. Nick and Mia, the owners, are very friendly (making you feel like you are staying with old friends) and knowledgeable about the surrounding area (which easily includes Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Monaco, not to mention all the small villages and the stunning valleys and gorges in the other direction!). The food and wine is superb (I am still ruing not bringing back the Corsican sausages and a few bottles of the Bordeaux) and their grounds more than relaxing enough if the sun is shining, which it did every day while I was there.
Highly recommended, I have already told everyone I know about it, so now I am telling you! If you want to go to the South of France, definitely stay here, if you don't where you want to go this year, then choose the South of France and stay at Le-Foulon as well. I will definitely be going back. R, submitted 23 May 2005 -

andrew cawte We visted Le Foulon whilst on a two week tour of the south of France. Coming from Hong Kong we have expectations of service that we have found sadly lacking in Europe. Le Foulon however was a breath of fresh air in every sense. Unpretentious, friendly and beautiful and the owners, Nick and Mia, bent over backwards to ensure we enjoyed our stay...and their dogs alone are worth a trip up there.
I highly recommend it. submitted 22 May 2005 -

Le Foulon is an idyllic paradise only 35 minutes from Nice airport. It's difficult to believe that you can find somewhere so relaxing so close to the French med coast. We only ever left the place to take breathtaking walks through the spectacular Gorge du Loup
The owners know how to provide an informal and yet not too intrusive service with fantastic food in amazing surroundings. I was caught on several occasions just gazing down the meadow, from the balcony to the mountains, at what became known as my "television".
The rooms have been decorated to the highest standard and taste. I can personally recommend the Wolf Suite. Pure class!
Will definitely be back next year... and the next :-)
