These accomodations were affordable, comfortable and the building and rooms themselves were funky and tastefully decorated. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen in the room we stayed in was a plus. Our hosts were laid back, real and full of interesting off-the-cuff information on the less visited sites in NYC. We enjoyed the area of Sugar Hill- there were some beautiful green spaces... The Cathedral of St.John the Divine... The Cloisters and the subway station is only a 5-10 minute walk from the Inn and the A train gets you into Times Square in 10-15 minutes. My only small complaint is that breakfast didn't seem to be a priority for the hosts.. in other words don't expect more than coffee and toast. Very good organic multi grain toast, mind you. And got hot coffee. I would definately recommend Sugar Hill and would stay there again in a heart beat.
