We had the most wonderful stay with excellent hosts, Joe and Vivienne who were exceptionally accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed wonderful gourmet meals every night - our hosts are born entertainers. The castle is stunning - the photographs do not do it justice. We took a private tour of the D-Day Beaches with Joe - we highly recommend this to anyone looking for tours. We just cannot wait to return and are planning to make it a regular weekend visit, when time permits. This is the only place we would consider staying - so convenient for the World War II beaches, Le Mont St Michel, only 20 minutes from Bayeux. I just cannot say too much - this was a truly wonderful, memorable experience.
