Casa Mora is a gorgeous B&B in a quiet neighborhood setting. We stayed in the penthouse suite, which was beautiful in every way - artistically designed and furnished, two balconies, one with a hammock for relaxing, a full kitchen, (thus we had a continental breakfast rather than the gourmet affair offered to other Casa Mora guests who have a more traditional B&B room.)All in all, Casa Mora is romantic, spacious and elegant. The co-host is an artist, and this showed throughout, down to the tiles in the bathroom which he created. His etched glasswork and stained glass in our suite and around the grounds were eye and soul pleasing. We only wish we had more time, so we could have hung out "at home" more. As it was, we thoroughly enjoyed Casa Mora's location - walking distance to a beautiful beach, and to a cafe-lined street that felt straight out of Europe. If aethetics are important to your pleasure while on vacation, I can't recommend Casa Mora more highly. We hope to go again soon!

I am grateful to both ibbp.com and to Casa Mora for my wonderful time in Vancouver. I found the listing for this great B & B last spring and I have been back twice since, once in the summer and once in the autumn. For me it was perfect to come home to the hot tub in the garden at Casa Mora, after a long day of walking and jogging and cycling around Vancouver. I stayed in the Magnolia Room twice and in the Penthouse once. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the host and hostess were consistently gracious and helpful. Neville makes a superb smoothie using soy milk, soygurt or yoghurt, organic berries, bananas, and I think I saw him put in a few drops of pure Mexican Vanilla - it was heavenly. The Penthouse is a real palace and I can't wait to return to Vancouver to stay in it once again -- a fireplace, huge puffy pillows, tons of space, a great view, nice furniture and an amazing King size bed that I nearly got lost in. Thanks to ibbp.com and to Mariette and Neville - I'll be back!
