| Mexico City, the Capital of Mexico, is a large international city with museums, galleries, and world famous cuisine. Within the city the range of attractions are endless with the National Palace, the Zocalo, Chapultepec Park, the world famous Anthropology Museum, the canals of Xochimilco, and the weekend markets in San Angel, Coyoacan and Tlalpan being top of the list. Also any visit to Mexico City should include a trip to see the incredible Aztec pyramids at Teotihuacan, just an hours drive from the city center. Yearly festivals include Independence Day in September, and Day of the Dead in November. |
