INFORMATION ABOUT Holualoa

The artisan village of Holualoa is nestled 1400 feet above sea level on the slopes of the Mount Hualalai on Hawaii's Big Island. The village is known for its rich history and culture and offers bed and breakfast travelers a multitude of galleries, shops, restaurants, artist studios, ukulele makers and boutiques featuring handicrafts. There are also a multitude of original coffee farms and just beyond the village fine sandy beaches for snorkeling, surfing and kayaking. Holualoa has an active community that celebrates with numerous events throughout the year including the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, the Music and Light Festival and the Ukulele Jam.
