The historic town of Hingham is situated only 15 miles South of Boston at the ocean with 21 miles of beautiful coastline that leads from Nantucket Beach through Cohasset. Bed and breakfast travelers may want to take a catamaran passenger boat to Boston and visit Rowe's Wharf, the Aquarium, Quincy Market or Faneuil Hall. A trip to the South will take bed and breakfast travelers to Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower Ship and Plimoth Plantations. Recreational opportunities in the area include the 2900 acres Wompatuck State Park for biking, skiing, hiking and wildlife watching. At Bare Cove Park (470 acres) visitors can go boating, ice skating and horseback riding. |
