INFORMATION ABOUT LONG BEACH

The town of Long Beach is located in the coastal region of Mississippi, about 1 hour and 30 minutes northeast of New Orleans, Louisiana, offering bed and breakfast travelers a great base for many activities and day trips. There are miles of beaches and a number of golf courses close by. Tourist attractions include the SeaBee Museum, picturesque country inns and bed and breakfasts, the Walter Anderson Museum, casinos and the Ship Island/Fort Massachusetts. Numerous area events take place throughout the year such as the Shrimp Festival, Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, Blessing of the Fleet and Christmas on the Water.
