| DESCRIPTION |
|
| Come down our country road and discover a riverside Adirondack mountain hideaway that time forgot. Originally a modest farmhouse, the house was rebuilt in 1929 as a summer "camp" for a Warrensburg, NY businessman. We’ve expanded and upgraded its facilities during our 30 years as a B & B. Its four immaculate guest rooms are comfortably furnished with queen-sized beds. All have views of the Hudson River, the meadow and mountains beyond. We have 35 wooded acres bordered by the Hudson River and state forest lands. A trout stream runs through it. Awaken to the aroma of coffee brewing and muffins baking. A full country breakfast of your choice, with homemade bread, awaits. Enjoy bird watching from the breakfast table, panoramic views of the Hudson River and Sugarloaf Mountain, and stimulating conversation with other guests. Stroll our perennial garden paths and nature trails, or visit a nearby hiking trail. Canoe the river, or alpine or cross-country ski in winter. On clear nights it’s dark enough to really see the stars. Not far away there are numerous antique shops, and lots of garage sales in season, plus Lake George boat cruises to enjoy. |
