We have 40 wooded acres bordered by the Hudson River and state forest lands. A trout stream runs through it. Four immaculate guest rooms are comfortably furnished with queen-sized beds. All have views of the Hudson River, the meadow and mountains beyond. Awaken to the aroma of coffee brewing,muffins baking, and a full country breakfast of your choice, with homemade bread and local maple syrup. Enjoy bird watching from the breakfast table, panoramic views of the Hudson River and Sugarloaf Mountain, and stimulating conversation with other guests. Stroll our perennial garden paths and nature trails, or visit nearby hiking trails. Canoe the river, or alpine or cross-country ski in winter. (Gore Mountain and Garnet Hill just a short drive away.) On clear nights it’s dark enough to really see the stars. Not far away there are numerous antique shops, and lots of garage sales in season, plus Lake George boat cruises to enjoy. |
