Sumengen Hotel is an old Ottoman House renewed in 1987 and converted into a charming hotel. The Hotel has a panoramic view of the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara and the Asian Side of Istanbul. It is located very close the Hippodrome Square, Blue Mosque, St Sophia, Topkapý Palace, Grand Bazaar (Covered Market), Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum, Archaeological Museum and many other historical monuments…
The hotel has a historical Turkish bath (hamam) used by old inhabitants of the traditional Turkish Konak. It is licensed Ministry of Tourism of Turkey.
There are three types of rooms. Promotional, standard and sea view rooms.
Also there are inter-connected family rooms with private bath and WC suitable for guests with children.
All rooms built to the same standard but priced with respect to the view offered.
All of the 30 comfortable rooms are equipped with private bathroom (shower & WC), direct dial telephone, air conditioning, cable TV, mini bar, central heating and hair-dryer.
