Balenbouche Estate is an extraordinary historic bed and breakfast set within a 19th century plantation on the south-western coast of St. Lucia, just a 20 minute drive from the International Airport.
Visitors can choose to stay in the antique-furnished rooms in the Estate House or in one of our two self-contained villas.
Each villa sleeps up to six people and offers two bedrooms with private baths, kitchen and living room/veranda. You can rent the entire villa, or just one bedroom/bath unit (single or double occupancy). All rooms are built in wood using traditional architectural styles, and are designed to catch the tropical breeze.
You can prepare your own meals using the cooking facilities in the villas, or dine at the Estate house restaurant, which offers delicious daily specials.
Nature trails meander through expansive tropical gardens and fruit orchards, leading to several secluded beaches adjoining the property.
The towns of Vieux Fort and Soufriere, which offer shopping, restaurants, nightlife, scuba diving, windsurfing, and many other attractions and activities, are only a 20 and 30 minute drive away.
